Southern Medical Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

 

American Medical Association Physician's Recognition Award
The Southern Medical Association designates this educational activity for a maximum of 24 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

American Academy of Family Physicians
This activity has been reveiwed and is acceptable for up to 24 Prescribed credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians.

American Osteopathic Association
This program has been approved for 24 hours of AOA Category 2-A credit.

American Academy of Physician Assistants
The American Academy of Physician Assistants accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ from organizations accredited by the ACCME.

American Association of Sleep Technologists
The American Association of Sleep Technologists designates this educational activity for a maximum of 15.00 AAST Continuing Education Credits.  Individuals should claim only those credits that he/she actually earned in the educational activity.

Nurse Continuing Education Contact Hours
The Southern Medical Association is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Alabama State Nurses Association (ASNA), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation (ANCC). Southern Medical Association Provider # 5-125. This activity qualifies for up to 24 contact hours.
