HOUSING RESERVATIONS

Group Rate: $259 Single/Double, per room, per night, plus taxes and resort fees, combined 21% taxes and resort fees* (subject to change).

Group Reservation Deadline - May 19, 2008
After this time, reservations will be accepted by the resort on a space available basis only and may not be honored at the group rate. You are encouraged to book as early as possible, as availability and/or the group rate may be sold-out prior to the reservation deadline.

Room Deposit and Cancellation:
Each reservation must be guaranteed with a credit card amount equal to one night’s room rate and tax. Your total room deposit will be refunded to you by Pinehurst Resort if cancellation is received no later than 21 days prior to arrival. If cancellation is made after that time, deposit is forfeited. It is your responsibility to call the hotel directly to cancel your reservation.

Please note: 
Conferences are subject to cancellation. Southern Medical Association will not refund travel costs. You are advised not to purchase airline tickets or reserve hotel rooms that cannot be refunded in the event of conference cancellation.

Registration Refund Policy: 
All requests must be in writing. A refund of your registration fee, minus a $50 administrative fee, will be granted if cancellation is received more than 10 days prior to the conference. No refund will be granted within 10 days of the meeting or anytime thereafter, however, we will be pleased to transfer your registration to another individual at anytime.

* 10% resort service fee applies per night and includes use of the Fitness Center, on-site transportation, tennis courts, beach club, outdoor pools, bicycles, afternoon tea in the Carolina, practice putting greens and driving range as well as gratuities for bell and door staff.
