LODGING ARRANGEMENTS

One and two bedroom villas located in the East Beach section of Kiawah Island include features such as full kitchen, dining and living areas, washer/dryer, screened porches or decks, and various amenities.  Check-in time is 4:00pm on the day of your arrival and check-out at 10:30 am on departure.  Daily housekeeping is included in room rates.

Deadline for Reservations: June 19, 2008
After this time, reservations will be accepted by the resort on a space-and-rate available basis. You are encouraged to book as early as possible, as room availability and/or the group block at the original rate may be sold-out prior to the reservation deadline.

Deposit:
Each reservation must be guaranteed by payment equal to two (2) night’s room and tax payable to Kiawah Island Golf Resort. The Kiawah Island Golf Resort will confirm your reservation directly to you when your deposit is received. Your deposit must be received within five (5) days if not paid by major credit card. All rates are subject to 11.5% tax and a 8% per day resort service fee (taxes are subject to change). Cancellations must be received at least 14 days prior to arrival and a cancellation number obtained for refund of deposit.

Please note: 
Conferences are subject to cancellation. SMA will not refund travel costs. You are advised not to purchase airline tickets or reserve hotel rooms that cannot be refunded in the event of conference cancellation.

SMA Registration Refund Policy:
A refund of your registration fee, minus a $50 administrative processing fee, will be granted if cancellation is made more than 10 days before the meeting date. No refund will be granted within 10 days of the meeting, or anytime thereafter. Refunds are not given for inclement weather unless the meeting itself is canceled.

ISCD Cancellation/Refund/No Show/Transfer Policy:
All requests must be in writing. Cancellations received 30 days before the course date will be processed less a $25 fee. Those received between 29 and 7 days before the course date will be processed less a $75 fee. Transfer requests require a $25 fee. Cancellations/Transfers received within six (6) days of the course date, cannot be granted. No refund will be issued. Refunds will not be issued to no-shows.
