While developing management and leadership skills to better manage and grow their practices, physicians must be aware of the market in which they work, as well as outside influences on that market. By examining Dutch practices, physicians can compare the similarities and differences between the healthcare systems of two democratic countries. This evaluation will broaden their knowledge of the possibilities in healthcare delivery outside what is common in the American healthcare market.
