Southern Medical Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

 

American Medical Association Physician's Recognition Award

The Southern Medical Association designates this educational activity for a maximum of 20 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essentials and Standards of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint sponsorship of the Southern Medical Association and Auburn University.

Certificate of Attendance

A certificate of attendance will be provided to all non-physician meeting attendees. It is advisable to refer to your provider to determine if this program will qualify for other categories of CE credit.

American Academy of Physician Assistants

The American Academy of Physician Assistants accepts AMA Category 1 Credit for the PRA from organizations accredited by the ACCME.
