About Auburn University’s Physicians Executive MBA Program (PEMBA)
Whether they want to gain more control over their own practice or assume leadership positions in healthcare or related industries, physicians need the latest and best business and organizational tools if they are to professionally succeed and thrive in today's complex and ever-changing healthcare environment. Tailored specifically for their needs, Auburn's Physicians Executive MBA (PEMBA) gives physicians the opportunity to earn a state-of-the-art, fully accredited MBA degree in 21 months, with minimal interference with their professional demands. The course “Comparative Healthcare Systems: Holland” in Amsterdam is one of six residencies required of physicians enrolled in the PEMBA program. However, due to the joint collaboration between SMA and Auburn in developing this study course, SMA members not enrolled in the PEMBA program are invited to attend the Holland course and earn CME credit. This course will expose you to the international healthcare environment, which will broaden your experience and perspective.
