Come join your friends and colleagues at The McWane Center. Enjoy dinner and cocktails and then experience the traveling exhibit—Tutankhamen: “Wonderful Things” from the Pharaoh’s Tomb. The world has been mesmerized by Tutankhamen’s life and death. Now King Tut’s celebrated reign and lavish burial are recreated in over 90 reproductions of the pharaoh’s possessions. Get an unprecedented glimpse into the 18th Dynasty and the infamous curse of the tomb of Tutankhamen through replicas of his golden throne, jewelry, spectacular funerary mask and royal mummy case. This is a ticketed function and advance registration is requested. Make plans to attend!

Burn Center Tours
This year’s burn center tours will go to the University of Alabama Burn Center, hosted by James M. Cross, MD, and Children’s Hospital Burn Center, hosted by William D. Hardin, Jr., MD. This integral component of the Regional Burn Conference promotes information exchange among members of the multidisciplinary team. Building on the knowledge gained from the conference, the tours will provide participants with a valuable opportunity for transmission of experience. The tours will be held Saturday, November 6 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. (Buses begin loading at 1:30 pm)
