  • Examination of the healthcare strategies and economic influences in Australia to better evaluate the strategies being suggested for the U.S.
  • Evaluation of the educational processes of the Australian physician-in-training and his or her transition into clinical practice, including lectures from academic deans and teaching hospital administration, a facility tour, and opportunity to meet and engage current resident physicians and medical students.
  • Interactive discussions with Australian primary care and specialist physicians to better understand the typical, real-world application of medical care in Australia.
