Now Playing in Music City
Southern Medical Association has selected this vibrant Southern city as the perfect locale for our very own gathering, the upcoming Centennial Annual Scientific Assembly, to be held August 7-9, 2008 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center.
One of my responsibilities as President of SMA, is to ensure you experience quality education in a collegial atmosphere. This year, five focused educational tracks have been developed in keeping with SMA’s commitment to provide Medallion Level continuing education. So, choose to attend this year’s Annual Scientific Assembly and impact your patients and practice with this real and relevant CME opportunity!
As always, the Alliance will present their own fabulous array of tours, receptions, meeting schedule, and the ever-popular Alliance Raffle. Participation in the raffle not only provides you the opportunity to win some of the marvelous prizes, a portion of the proceeds will benefit activities of the Research & Education Endowment Fund as well.
In addition to the social functions and receptions held throughout the Assembly by SMA and the SMA Alliance, our host city also boasts vibrant new entertainment venues on Demonbruen Street, the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Music City Walk of Fame and Museum and so much more! So save the date and bring your spouse, your family, and your friends for a truly enjoyable and educational getaway in Nashville. We look forward to your company in Music City!
Warmest Personal Regards,
Paula Oliver Pell, MD, FACEP, FAAP
